What does semi-all-inclusive mean?

Semi-all-inclusive means that we provide many things to make your day as perfect as possible that are included just by you booking your wedding with us. However, there are some things that we provide for an additional fee and others that we ask that you provide. Is there anything I cannot bring?

Yes,  due to safety concerns, there are a few things that are prohibited from being brought to Laurel Wood Gardens.

Prohibited items include:

  • Fireworks, including sparklers
  • Pets
  • Rice, including wedding rice 
  • Insecticides
  • Loaded firearms

What do I need to provide?

There are a few things that you need to decide on. We will be more than happy to make recommendations if needed.

Things the couple needs to provide:

  • Marriage Certificate
  • Officiant (Client can elect to use onsite Justice of Peace for an additional fee)
  • Food, Cake, and serving equipment/utensils - To be provided by Catering, Family, or whoever handles your food choices.
  • ​Drinks and Ice (Laurel Wood Gardens is not liable for guest actions due to alcohol consumption)
  • Linens and centerpieces for dining tables. (Linens may be provided by caterer, please check with your caterer) Can also rent table linens on site for additional fee.
  • Reception Music- Band, DJ, iPod®, etc.
  • Photographer
  • Additional tables, chairs, and decorations if desired.
  • Guest Book

What is included?

Laurel Wood Gardens provides a number of services that are included at no extra charge when you have your wedding with us. 

Things we include:

  • Laurel Wood Gardens provides event coordination with any vendors.
  • Access to the first floor living area that includes bride and groom's dressing areas and use of the shower. (Towels must be brought by client)
  • A full size kitchen with standard appliances.
  • A wedding arch decorated in silk flowers in the color(s) of the bride's choosing.
  • Seating for guests at the ceremony.
  • A tent over the reception area decorated with lights.
  • Reception area floral decoration in silk flowers of bride's choosing.
  • Tables and chairs for reception areas for up to 85 guests (an additional 30' x 30' tent is available to accommodate larger guest lists), cake table, DJ table, sign-in table, gift tables, and food and drink tables. 
  • Linens for cake, DJ, sign-in, and gift tables.

All of which will be set up and taken down by Laurel Wood Gardens

How are the accessible areas and the included reception area set up?

What options are available?

Laurel Wood Gardens offers several optional additions that are available for an additional fee.

Optional items include:

An onsite Justice of Peace to officiate your ceremony.

Horse and carriage rental for a fairytale entrance. (Run by Avalon Carriages)

30' x  30' dining tent for larger guest lists. (Please see possible set-up options below- These can seat up to 200 guests, additional guest seating is available on the lawn area.)

Outdoor heaters for cold weather.
